Cyclogest leakage

Hi everyone, I’m just looking for some reassurance on how much leakage after vaginal cyclogest is ok and what it should look like? I have vaginismus so am so worried about this. They go in fine and I stay lying down for an hour with a pillow under me but after the hour before I get up but after removing the pillow I can see milky white discharge coming out. I know this is normal as it’s meant to be the casibg but how do you know when it’s only the casing or when it’s some of the medication? x

I was told to lay down for 15 mins and had the milky discharge coming out too. The medication had dissolved in only 15 mins and it was just the casing so I think after an hour you can be more than sure that it’s just the outside!

It's not the outer casing as such, it's a hard fat that is water soluble. The medication is impregnated within the fat. I had leakage when I inserted exclusively up the front. If you put it up the back, it won't leak out. Just make sure you poop first, otherwise it's a waste. I found doing it this way was more practical because I couldn't have a lie down afterwards every time. You might get some diarrhoea from doing it this way and you most certainly will get orange poop as the fat mixes in (it's got to go somewhere). But otherwise you won't get any leakage.

I prefer Cyclogest for this reason over say Ultragest, as Ultragest can only be put up the front.
