Double stroller HELP?!

Hi, I am currently 11 weeks pregnant with my second baby and when this baby is born my other one will only be a year and 9 months old.

I have been looking online at double strollers and my mind is just blown. I don't need a full travel system or anything and the three ones that I have looked at are Ickle Bubba Venus Prime Double Stroller, Jane Twinlink Pushchair with 1 Smart Carrycot and Puggle Urban City Easyfold Twin Double Pushchair with Soft Carrycot.

My question is if anyone has any reviews on these? Unfortunately with where I stay, I don't think there is any shops close by to us that I could go and have a look at these and test them out etc.

I am mostly leaning towards the Jane Twinlink one however, I can't seem to find any reviews for this online although from watching Youtube videos of demos etc it seems to fit everything I am looking for and seems easy enough to use.

Any help and advice if there is anything else out there that I may have missed would be fab!

Thank you so much!

I cant advice on brand (as my twins are now 16). But I can say the best pushchair type will depend where you go/where you live.
I lived in a very hilly area, my village had very inaccessible single door shops and the school had those bars to prevent motorbikes (a nightmare to get round). So look at where you currently go and what type would fit. I had a tandem Jane, it was brilliant and sold it on easily afterwards. It had a break on which was a must with a heavy pushchair in hilly place.
A friend of mine actually decided to stick with the single pushchair and use a sling (similar age gaps to yours) and after a year eldest walked and youngest in a pushchair. I couldn't have done it (you need to be strong/have a good back) but worked for her.

Hi OP you could try moving this to the Parenting board - maybe get more tips/help over there?

Out n about double stroller is the winner of every parent's with 2 under 2. Easy to fold up, and can off road. I didn't buy the carry cot, just laid the seat back more.

Out n about are highly recommended. I had the baby jogger duet which was similar and v good quality. I bought it second hand and sold it on 2 years later for the same price I’d paid. They hold their value. Definitely go with a side by side (twin) rather than one in front of the other (tandem). I started out with a tandem and it’s just sooooooo heavy to lift up onto kerbs etc. my babies were 16 months apart. Good luck!

Mountain buggy duet is excellent and can also be used as a single later with a side basket, and fits through a standard door. Incredibly easy to manoeuvre and built like a tank.

Seconded. I had one of these abd it was great. Held its value too. I bought it for £200 secondhand and sold it third hand for £150.

I had similar age difference to you. My husband was going away for work so we got an out n about double stroller to be prepared. I was happy with it but my baby wasn’t. She got so upset each time we tried to use it. Ended up with baby in the sling & with eldest in the original pushchair. Then eventually got a ride on for the eldest. Didn’t really use the double pushchair at all.
