Pain from stretching

Hello all,
Im 19/20 weeks pregnant. I woke up in the middle of the night last night and stretched out to get my phone, but felt a pain in my side and immediately pulled back my arm. I'm worried I could have damaged the baby I'm carrying. I felt a bit of pain in my side this morning, a bit lower down.
I live alone in a small apartment, and the reason why I had to stretch far to get my phone is because I moved my bedside table to put my laptop on to work on during the day, and I'm worried about carrying it back to beside the bed (it's not very heavy- maybe about 6kg.... but still....), so I place my mobile phone on the ground beaide my bed at night and and now.

Grateful for any advice.

You'll most likely just have stretched a muscle or ligament or something, everything loosens a bit in pregnancy. Lifting something that's 6kg shouldn't be an issue either.

@Jennifer48 Welcome to round ligament pain....I threw a ball for my dog and debilitated myself for a week haha! It's brutal! Hope it eases soon x

I get it when I sneeze and if I stretch in bed, it’s so annoying

you might already know, but when you’re pregnant, you produce the hormone ‘relaxin’ and need to be more careful about exercise and certain movements. I worked out until a few days before birth without issues but I was cautious.
