Nausea

I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I'm really struggling with nausea. I've tried eating smaller meals/snacks more often, but it hasn't really helped me. Is there any particular food/drinks that worked for you?
I appreciate any advice.

💜 im 7 weeks too 😀 the nausea is horrendous. I seem to feel slightly better in the afternoons and try to eat food with more actual nutrition then. In the mornings I have crunchy nut cornflakes, dry on a bad day. I snack on fruit, biscuits and crisps and I find that helps me feel less sick, if I keep eating small amounts. But basically it's just horrible and waiting till it passes.

@prettybluebell like previous poster, dry foods have helped me. Cereal bars (I was snacking every 3 hours to keep nausea away), toast, crisps. I found planning food before the nausea crept in worked a little. So making sure I had a cereal bar in my handbag. My nausea has been coming and going, hopefully yours settles soon too.

To add: I've been eating orange ice lollies they really hit the spot. And drinking ginger ale.

Oh another thing is to drink using a straw! For some reason that feels nicer 😂 I am struggling to drink enough, I think because lots of fluid in my stomach makes me feel worse.

I had bad sickness for three months with bloating as well. Watermelon and citrus oasis along with carrot sticks got me through.

Congratulations and thanks for the tips 😊 I've tried crisps, and it seems to help a little bit, I've been snacking alot the last couple of days on fruit, biscuits and yoghurt.

3 months! That must have been hard, I hope it won't last that long.
