IVF clinics London Reccomendation with ready-to-go frozen embryos

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone had any helpful advice for me regarding IVF. For context, we were lucky enough to have a successful round of IVF with the NHS and our beautiful baby boy arrived safe and sound. We are trying naturally to conceive for a second and are hoping to try via IVF (v grateful to have 5 frozen embryos) in the NY if we're not successful over the next few months.

There are an overwhelming amount of IVF clinics now in London. We have lots of friends who used various clinics for their whole journey and all have been successful, but most have varying views of their experience/paid a lot of money. We have frozen embryos so we should be able to avoid a lot of the starter costs, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend a clinic in London (SE preferably) that is well priced/empathetic/decent success rates?

Also, if anyone has had an experience with using a private clinic after NHS/what the process entailed in terms of cost/time frame, that would be great to know. There are so many extra costs for just a conversation with clinics that I'm reluctant to engage with many of them right now.

Last question, if anyone has any reccos on when to engage with them too, that would be so helpful- For example, if we want to kick off the process in January, should we engage with them in December or even sooner due to tests/delays etc? Having struggled for a number of years for our first and then experience a year of tests/consultations to actually get to IVF, I'm really hoping our experience the second time round will be much swifter, but let's see!

Grateful to anyone who has any thoughts/advice/experiences they can share.

Thanks so much in advance!

Are you able to go private at your existing hospital if you liked them? I went privately to Guys Hospital but they also did NHS patients for example. I would start the process now for January, they can do any tests needed and then they will have you come in for example in December to start taking medications for the transfer. We had a similar time frame for one of our transfers.

I haven't used NHS for IVF but have done 2 rounds of private IVF at the Lister in Chelsea, and would recommend them. Appointments can be lengthy and run late but otherwise I've found them great (we have been successful, but I think they're thorough and doctors are very good). I've also heard a lot of good things about Kings Fertility, we didn't go with them as we wee already at the Lister for immune stuff but otherwise would probably have gone there

This is really helpful, thank you both so much. I actually had never thought about going private at the same NHS clinic. We were at Kings and had a great experience, so maybe I investigate that first and then look at the others recommended. Also, great advice on getting tests etc done now to avoid delays later. Thanks again!
