Probably a daft question but last son sat right up high and was breach so not experienced this before.

40 years old so have been put under consultant as was told its likely I would go early but have a planned section scheduled mid october

Baby has moved and is so low I honestly feel like an arm is hanging out my bits! It's agony but no contractions or anything.... Just feels so incredibly low and the pressure is really bad.... i have gone in to full blown waddle mode over the past 2 days. Do I need to call midwife or is this normal at this stage?

Probably nothing to worry about but like I say I have never experienced this before 🙈🤣

I would give midwife a call but I do remember this with dd xx

I’d say normal. As it isn’t your first, it can be normal for babies to ‘engage’ to various degrees and then move out again. It doesn’t sound like it’s anything to worry about! The end of pregnancy is a game of endurance unfortunately.

I had a day or two around the same point where baby was mega low and it was so uncomfortable. I did the first two bits of the miles circuit to get baby to move up and drop back in a different position which helped shift the baby and relieve the pressure.

My daughter was super low for ages before she come and I was told by my midwife, some so it and doesn’t always indict being close to labour.

I had a similar thing with DD where I felt like she was going to exit if I walked normally. Ended up 11 days over so was not an indicator sadly! See your midwife if you’re worried though for sure.

Get checked, but getting on your hands and knees and then putting your head in the floor (so your bum is in the air) might help relieve the pressure a bit.
