When did you feel second baby move with anterior placenta?

I had an anterior placenta with my first baby and didn’t feel flutters until gone 20 weeks. I’m now pregnant with my second and had a scan today and have been told I have an anterior placenta again.

I’ve had what I’ve thought were flutters and the odd rolling feeling in my lower stomach the last few days that I thought was baby moving but now I’m not so sure I would be feeling this so soon if I have an anterior placenta but then again you do supposedly feel movements sooner on second pregnancies?

Just wondering when you felt your second baby move if you had an anterior placenta?

Thanks!

First baby I had a posterior placenta and felt him around 18 weeks, second was anterior and was probably 22/23 weeks before I really felt her, and kicks were much less strong the whole way through

Probably around 18 weeks with my second, quite low down.

I can't remember whether my placenta was anterior or posterior with my daughter but fairly certain it was on the upper left hand side. I've got an anterior placenta this time and it's on the bottom left and I'm getting much more movements than I had with my daughter, with her my movements were only on the right hand side whereas this one is all over the place sometimes at the same time.
I think it's more that an anterior placement may mean less movements, potentially later rather that will. Movements this time started about the same time as with my daughter but until 24 weeks they were all low down in my bikini line.

First baby, placenta was not anterior and got movement about 17 weeks, second baby was with anterior placenta around perhaps 20 weeks but was much less obvious, and more sporadic than it was with first baby

I’m 14 weeks and have anterior placenta but im
sure I have felt small movements for the past few days… its my second so I recognise the feeling. Very infrequent, but 90% sure

Anterior but not second child, it’s my first.
felt flutters from week 21/22 and proper movements by week 24.

I’m slightly ahead of you at 16 weeks but have been noticing the same and hoping it is baby! It’s such a specific feeling!

With my second, I felt them shortly before the 12 week scan (nearly 14 weeks). The scan confirmed the area I'd been feeling movement (low and in my right) was indeed baby. I knew I had an anterior placenta before my 20 week scan as I only ever felt baby around the edges and low down for the entire pregnancy.

Little movements from 17 weeks with an anterior placenta, was around 18 weeks with my first which was a posterior placenta, I have to say even with the anterior placenta the second time I still had quite obvious movements from around 20 weeks, don't know if I was just more in tune to it.

Thanks all! 17 weeks today and possible movement felt today 🤞🤞🤞

I've had an anterior placenta in both pregnancies. First one I didn't feel much until just before/around 20 weeks.

This time round it was much earlier - definitely felt intermittent movement from about 15 weeks and there were a few times in weeks 13 and 14 that I felt tiny little scuffles that I'm sure were the baby moving.

With my first pregnancy, my son was back to back, so even with an anterior placenta movement was really distinctive in the later stages because he would kick with his feet and get them jammed under my ribs and stuff.

I'm currently 36 weeks and my baby is in the regular position with her back against my tummy. I've found movements less distinctive at this point in pregnancy because she's usually kicking into the space inside me, so the movements I feel are more like little shuffles and wriggles as she moves her back/bum around.
