Just ate unpasteurised Brie

Hello all, I'm very worried because I ate a brie and broccoli quiche for lunch. I was with my mum who doesn't know I'm pregnant so, because this was in a coffee shop in Ireland, I assumed that the Brie would be pasteurised. I quietly enquired at the till when she was at the other end of the ahop and the waotress checked the paackaging and told me the Brie was NOT pasteurised.
The quiche was heated but not, as I keep reading it should be, "steaming hot". I mean, I was able to put it in my mouth without burning my mouth!
I know there's not much I can do about it now but stress levels are high so any thoughts grarefully received. Thank you.

Honestly, it's fine, you'll be fine. I know it's an anxious time, but try and put the little things behind you. Congratulations!

It would have been steaming hot when it was originally cooked, in order for the eggs to cook. Then heated again before serving to you. You're fine, no risk at all. Take care of yourself @Jennifer48.

Was the brie inside the quiche? If so it would have been cooked in the oven when the quiche was first baked, and any listeria would have been killed then. It doesn't matter that it was only warmed through again when you ate it.

If it was something different, like the brie was some kind of topping which they put on the quiche after baking it, then yes, that's an issue (in the very very unlikely event the brie contained listeria).

Exactly . A lot of these "food rules" come from the US where food hygiene is a lot poorer than in Ireland/UK. Unpasteurised brie is a high-end food and far less likely to have any listeria compared to cheese sitting sweating behind the counter in a garage sandwich counter for example.

Plus it was heated.

Plus any outbreaks of listeria in the last few years has been hummus/salad/ready meals. Never unpasteurised cheese

To avoid the risk of listeriosis you'd have to not eat anything ever.

The Brie was inside the quiche.
Thank you so much everyone.
