Bump dropped

I was tested positive for pre term labour at 29 weeks given meds and everything slowed down. I’m now 34 weeks and bump has dropped. Dull pain in my hips and back and irregular cramps.
im tired of going to the hospital for them to say waters haven’t gone despite consistent wet underwear. Any advice or any guesses as to when I’ll go into active labour?

My bump dropped two weeks before I had baby, the new low position gave me irregular cramps and sore crotch/ back. It can drop quite a while before baby appeares, or sometimes not until labour!

As for signs, its consistent regular contractions you want to look out for. Theres lots of free apps you can use to monitor these when they time comes, they even suggest when you should go to hospital etc.

I know its different for everyone but I really did notice the difference of my water breaking vs pregnancy discharge that I feel goes crazy in the end! You may also be losing your mucus plug as well that will add to the wetness feeling. But for me my waters breaking really felt like I was peeing myself with no way to stop it, and that was jusy my forewayers, hind ones didn't go till I was ready to push! They can test you at the hospital to check if it actually is waters.

My waters never went with my first born, they went as I gave birth and I was 4cm dilated at 37 weeks with no clue. So I’m a bad judge of pain etc as I always put it off. So I maybe being extra cautious with this one as I doubt I’d be someone whose waters just broke.

I was induced with my first so had them broken for me but they hadnt went at about 2 cm dilated. Just broke the second time before contractionshad started, babies are so different. Its a shame to hear they are being a bit dismissive of your concerns when you've been treated for early labour
