Head right down at 32 week scan - sign of impending labour?

My first was born very early - pre 30 weeks - and I've been so worried it will happen again (although we are now a bit further along which is great!)

At my most recent scan the baby's head was right down, which I suspected as I can feel the weight of it.

Has anyone had this baby position at 32 weeks and gone to full term?

Yep both babies head down and both were late

Yes my first was head down and engaged from very early on. Everyone said she’d come early - even the midwife said I won’t make it to my due date.

She was forcibly evicted almost 2 weeks late….

Thank you so much!!! What a relief!

Although 2 weeks late sounds painful!! I'm hoping for nicely on time! Haha!

Mine has been head down since at least the 32 week scan and engaged since at least the 34 week midwife appointment and I'm still going at 38 and a half weeks with no signs of labour! I bet he'll be late 😂

Yep head down super early they said it was normal to me

I felt mine shift into downward position at around 30 weeks, then head down for weeks, told she would be early, then lying on left (long baby - no room), born 40+6

My DS was born at 40+3 via EMCS as he just wouldn’t come out despite seven different induction methods 🫠

He also had his head wedged in my pelvis from 32 weeks!

Mine was head down from 33 weeks and came late (and only after a sweep!)
