I'm 20 weeks with my 3rd baby and still not feeling consistent movements. I think (although can't fully remember when) that with my other babies I was feeling a lot more fetal movement by now. Some days I don't notice anything at all, although I'm probably also spending less time sitting still than previous pregnancies. Is it normal for some babies to move more than others? We still have 2 weeks till our anomaly scan.

I didn't feel proper, consistent movement till late in pregnancy I think nearer 30 weeks and always more so at night time. I was up at the maternity assessment numerous times as I was worried about the lack of movement and everything was always fine. If you're concerned don't hesitate to go and get checked over x

20 weeks is on the early side, but contact your midwife. Hopefully they can offer for you to go in and listen to the heartbeat.

I just had my second baby and I ended up going in 5 times for reduced movements. It turns out she was stuck in a certain position. I hardly felt movements, no kicks just swooshes between 30-39 weeks. Every scan and check up (had them regularly) she was in the same position. She even had talipes on her foot due to it being stuck in a certain position in the womb. I had no idea that was a thing.

Just keep going in though for monitoring if you are unsure.

@Blue2020 @Lynx92 thank you! I did call my midwife and they told me to go get checked, luckily baby was all fine just hiding! Although she said my bump looked so big for 20 weeks I should get checked for gestational diabetes so that's something else to worry about.
