Morning sickness, but just dry heaving and nausea

I'm 8w5d and have had morning sickness for what feels like the last decade (probably started just after 6w though). Roughly on the hour every hour I start to get really nauseated and begin to dry heave. The only way to combat this affliction is by eating. It does not seem to matter what I eat,I just need to eat something. 80% of the time I am not hungry in the slightest and more often than not I very much do not want to eat anything, but it is the only thing that works to combat the nausea.I have only actually vomited twice and both times it was very low in volume and mostly excess saliva.

I've tried eating different foods to make me full longer (high protein, high carb, low carb, high fat, low fat, fruits, vegetables, soups, healthy things, unhealthy things) but have found nothing that will break the cycle of feeling nauseated roughly every hour.

If I do not eat something, I will dry heave endlessly until I do end up vomiting (hence the two times before). I've tried the normal things the internet recommends like ginger foods and peppermint/chamomile teas but still nothing changes.

I'm hoping this is just a first trimester symptom and blissful relief is waiting for me in 3-5 weeks time, but for now, is there anything I can take? Given I'm not actually vomiting I'm not sure if I can be prescribed anything. When I mentioned my nausea to the midwife about a week and a half ago, she did not seem overly concerned. I already have a high BMI going into this pregnancy and was hoping to limit any unnecessary weight gain to avoid the complications that come with being a larger pregnant person so this constant cycle of eating is not really helping that goal.

You can definitely get something Perscriber you don’t need to suffer. Speak to your GP, first line meds is normally cyclizine

Ive thrown up properly only a few time but was diagnosed with HG. Im now nearly 19 weeks and still take cyclizine and ondansetron. I heave and gag, and cant eat because of that. Honestly it got worse for me after 11 weeks! So contact your GP, dont suffer.

I get the dry heaving too, started right after my nausea. That was more debilitating for me than the sickness, because I feel better after I'm sick. But the dry heaving means I can't even go outside because it's really loud and constant and tiring and makes me feel awful. I got medication from the GP and it does help it and it is sloooowly disappearing week 11.

I have read that vitamin B6 helps with nausea so I am trying that at the moment too.
