I am coming to 7 weeks pregnant and the nausea has taken over my life.

I feel so ill all day all night I get no relief, the dizziness is horrendous. I have cried so much because I physically cannot do anything .

I am eating small and regular I am taking some anti sickness (prochlorperazine) nothing is helping. I have had 3 recurrent losses and should be grateful but I am becoming depressed. Days where I can’t leave the bed.

how are you all coping x

OP with severe nausea like this your doctor will prescribe various meds to try. With any luck you'll hit upon a combination which helps you.

Do make a GP appointment.

I know it's not much help to say it will pass, not when you're in the middle of it, but... it will pass. (For the vast majority of us - my huge sympathies for those affected throughout).

I found that I needed to focus on growing a baby being a fulltime occupation at times. Sometimes for weeks... growing a baby is pretty much all you can do. When you can't eat and you feel horrendous - it's very hard. Of course it is depressing. But you are doing important work and it's important to slow down all you can and try to find something to make you smile or take your mind off it.

See your midwife to make sure that you are staying as well as possible, mentally and physically.

Just... hugs. You will get through it! It will lift and you will feel like yourself again.

The ondansetron seems to stop me physically vomiting but I still have the nausea, Apparently with xonvea it takes a week or so to build up in your system and does help the nausea so I’m hoping that in a few days I’ll have some relief. I’d got low blood sugar and was shivery and shaking and dizzy all the time but I was suggested to try lucozade and then the shaking stopped . I’m only managing sips of liquid through the day not actual food but I’m hoping things get better as I feel trapped and miserable and I’d been having dark thoughts that there was only one way out and this is a very much wanted baby so I was getting terribly upset . It’s so hard as it’s just the absolute worst feeling you can’t get a minutes relief from it and it drains all your energy
