Trigger - abortion warning-

I am really really struggling with nausea and vomiting this first tri. I have a 3 year old and didn’t rly suffer much with that pregnancy and wasn’t with this one until bam- woke up two weeks ago and was sick as a dog. It has not stopped since then and I have been signed off work. All I can do is lie in bed and cry because I feel so crap. I have been prescribed xonvea but it is barely touching the sides. I genuinely don’t know if I can cope with this for another 3 weeks (until second tri) as this is unbearable. We have had to cancel our family
holiday next Saturday as I don’t think I’ll be better by then. Genuinely despairing and considering ending this pregnancy.

how can I survive this?

You have my sympathy- it’s awful. I went through the same thing. Go back to GP and ask to try different meds. There are several and some work better for other people than others. Ondansetron worked best for me but I needed it through a drip for a little while before I was well enough to take it orally.
Being in ketosis and being dehydrated makes the nausea worse so as awful as it is, try and sip water often (you’ll absorb small amounts through your mouth even if what reaches your stomach comes back up). Suck boiled sweets or ice lollies for sugar / calories if you can bear them. Don’t worry about healthy eating at this stage, anything that works is good.
If your GP is shit (mine was) and you feel you need more help, don’t be afraid to present at A&E. Sometimes a day or two on a drip and some strong anti sickness meds are needed.

Sorry you are having such horrible sickness. As PP has said, go back to GP and ask them to try a different medication, they have a few different levels and some work better for different people. And definitely think about a and e if you are unable to keep fluids down and are struggling to function. I found IV drip and anti sickness made a world of difference for me before.

I had this OP. Eventually went to A@E and was put on a drip for a couple of days (at roughly 7 weeks pregnant). Have you been told it might be a sign of twins? I was, had an early scan, was twins😳. The drip worked a treat- not a minute’s sickness after that. Just go to the hospital. Good ouck
