I think people who decline vaccines in pregnancy and then their babies get the preventable disease and end up in icu should have to pay for their babies nicu stay.

your baby your choice and all that op but how will you live with yourself if your baby catches rsv and is in hospital for weeks ?

I got all the vaccinations and my baby was fine, thankfully caught no nasty illnesses.
Look up babies who died from whooping cough etc because their parents didn't want to vaccinate, bet they wish they had.

Get them both - and the flu vaccine if offered :)
Appreciate your nervous, but it'll be fine. The vaccines are good for the baby and you'll be doing best by your baby having them. Don't listen to any anti-vax scare mongering nonsense, or the few people who say they have been just fine without them. You don't want to risk your baby getting sick. A good friend of mines a paediatrician and I was so relieved when they rolled out RSV vaccine as she said it was terrible how many sick babies there were with it.

Rsv put my son into intensive care on a ventilator. Please don’t underestimate how dangerous it can be.

I didn't with my 2 children.
Innursed my children and no infections or issues with either.

You got lucky, as many do. But a sample size of 1 case is not proof that this is a sensible approach. This is how Infectious diseases work: sometimes you get lucky and don't contract them, sometimes you get them (and in this case, your baby would have a substantial probability of death), and sometimes, you're lucky enough to have the opportunity of a vaccine that keeps you safe from the risk of infection and death.

I’m having both, RSV jab wasn’t available when I had my DD in 2023. I had my whooping cough at 20 weeks both times and I’m booked in for RSV jab in a week when I’ll be 30 weeks. My DD has had RSV twice, once at 6 months old that took her 2 months to properly recover from and a few months ago she was hospitalised with it and febrile seizures. Don’t risk your babies life, have them.
