Sudafed, dry up milk?

Wasn’t sure where best to post - gave birth a few days ago and I am formula feeding. It’s my second baby so I remember when my milk came in last time but I don’t remember it being this uncomfy or painful. Last time I just strapped them down in a decent sports bra and forgot about them.
this time they are so much bigger, honestly comically large, and so so heavy and sensitive.
i started taking Sudafed today, the one behind the counter with pseudophedrine in it as I heard it could help - anyone had any success?

No personal experience but there is some evidence that it does reduce supply so could be worth a try. Just be careful you’re not becoming too drowsy to care for your baby safely and obviously no bed sharing while taking it.

Anything is worth a try!
pretty sure pseudophedrine is a stimulant though … (also no co sleeping over here!) so maybe it’ll help me power through the night too 🤣

Hi OP, I used Sudafed very successfully to dry up my milk after breast feeding. I took it 3 /4 times a day . It worked within a couple of days and I was done in less than a week.

Yes, I took this to manage an oversupply - only took 3 doses to cut milk by about half
