Stuff that helped morning sickness

Hi all
I thought I'd start a thread of things that are helping my 24/7 morning sickness, as some of them are surprising and I hope this helps others ❤️

Werthers originals
Drinking water with squash and ice
Houmous
Weetabix
Nutty granola
Peppermint chewing gum
Oat and raisin cookies
Eating every hour, never letting myself get hungry
Plain pasta with grated cheddar and sweetcorn
Sucking ice cubes
Bananas
Cucumber (helps with dehydration)
Crunchy sourdough bread with butter and strawberry jam
Emeterm bracelet (not 100% on this one yet, but I'm giving it a go out of sheer desperation)
Listening to audio books
Jacobs crackers
Thin sliced roast beef (the only meat I can stomach)
Sitting with a fan on my face (I found feeling too hot the biggest trigger)
Ginger biscuits are helpful but not as much as the others stuff I mentioned (or maybe I just had too many at beginning and I've found it useful to change it up every week)

Generally I mostly eat carbs and some sweets, in case anyone is reading this list and feeling bad they can't stomach cucumber and roast beef!

I also want to say that women are heroic for dealing with this, and if your suffering right now know that it will pass 💪

Any other tips welcome!!

I think it all very individual, but when I was having all day morning sickness the things that helped where cakes, sugary sweets and fizzy pop (which I actually hate non pregnant 🙃, apart from the cake. I love cake all year round)

Beige all the way for the 1st trimester!

Honestly I had 24/7 morning sickness nausea (limited vomiting) with both pregnancies for the 1st 14 weeks, and next time I am going to the Dr and getting anti-sickness medicine. It’s an option you could explore. But yes trying to be cooler, sparkling water, salt and vinegar crisps and tiny thin slices of chilled fruit (strawberries, apples etc) and travel sickness bands helped a bit.

Friends with sickness had anti sickness medicine and a much better experience than me. Not having to carry sickness bags on the train or tube, able to work effectively, able to be present for your children. I think it depends on your midwife and GP but I should have pushed for the meds

Xonvea from the doctors- saved my life!

Also love ice lollies, when even water is hard to stomach, ice lollies have been really helpful for me.

Pregnancy 1 I lived off tinned peaches I struggled with food and liquids. On cyclizine for most of the first and third trimesters
Pregnancy 2 struggled with food but ok with liquids. I managed cherry tomatoes, celery, cuppa soups and smoothies. On cyclizine and then prochlorazine
Pregnancy 3 ok with food could barely drink anything. I lived off a mix of Bovril on toast and chocolate spread on toast. On cyclizine and metoclopramide
Pregnancy 4 on xonvea from the first sign of nausea coped so much better on a broadly normal diet.

Oooh tinned peaches great shout.

Also really support going to the doc for medicine, I think I'm heading that way tbh
