Physio diagnosed pelvic girdle pain during the week. She was happy that I am already doing a lot of what they recommend in terms of exercises etc. She had a few tweaks to suggest and explained the hormonal and brain role on PGP. All interesting but I'm not really seeing any improvement. I have been doing exercises for a few weeks (followed recommendations from midwife before being referred to the physio).
If you (or someone you are close to) are familiar with PGP what helped?

I use exercise ball and complete the exercises a few times a day
I listen to my body and take breaks when possible, alter from sitting/standing/walking etc
DH does the cooking, nursery pick up and is very active with DS, he's also trying to understand and be supportive but it's clearly taking a toll
I use paracetamol on the worse days but I feel like I might as well be taking smarties (I've had my fair share of prescription painkillers from chronic migraines prior to pregnancy)
Most mornings I have a hot shower before work (we don't have a bath)

My main struggles are
Struggling with the constant pain mentally (which surprises me as I'm used to migraines)
Emotionally feeling guilty because DS isn't getting the same attention as I'm really shattered when I get in from work and not playing with him as much, over the weekend DH is doing more and more and even as a family we are doing less
Feeling overwhelmed by general life e.g. cleaning (DH already does a good bit about the house), I feel like my driving lessons are regressing, family drama that normal doesn't bother me is eating me up more, places being busy or loud bothering me (they generally dont)

Only 26 weeks and not relishing the thoughts of this continuing!

A chiropractor is the only thing that helped me nothing else did, not the exercises, medication nothing helped. I seen a chiropractor and was practically pain free after one session and kept going every few weeks until baby was born! My chiropractor specifically specialised in pregnant women also so she had seen a lot of this before and almost everyone had relief after a visit ! Definitely recommend if it’s within your means 😊

Something I will definitely look into then. Thank you!
