Travelling during pregnancy

Hi ladies,
I hope you're all doing well! I would like to ask if it is safe to travel when I’m around 30–32 weeks. It would be a short trip, ( 3 hours flight), nothing too stressful, but I wanted to ask — has anyone here travelled during that stage of pregnancy?
Was it comfortable? Did you have any issues or things I should keep in mind?
I'd really appreciate your advice or personal experiences. 😊
Thanks in advance!

Lots of people do but personally I wouldn’t and would try to travel before the viability limit (23-24 weeks). If you had a premature birth abroad you could be facing a long stay in a foreign country until the baby is well enough to travel, potentially on your own if your partner needs to return to work. Most premature births and 3rd trimester complications still happen without prior warning and not just people with obvious risk factors. It can also be uncomfortable sleeping by that stage. I brought a giant pregnancy pillow on a UK trip at that stage as I had so much trouble sleeping without it.

You need to have a fit to fly letter after 28 weeks. If for any reason you are noted as high risk during your pregnancy, you will not get this letter and won't be allowed to fly. Personally I wouldn't want to fly in the third trimester anyway.

I flew at 30 weeks, I suffer with rls so I got compression socks, flight on way was fine, but the one coming back I was just restless more than anything, and constantly at the loo.
