I drank alcohol's free Prosecco at 19 weeks? Is this ok?

Okay? I don’t do that. I just don’t want to drink alcohol free drinks while pregnant.

My friend, you pass away if you didn't drink alcohol free drinks during pregancy. I wasn't accusing you of overcooking your meat, but of having the same "there is a standard of safeness past safe that I must adhere to". In this case, the standard of safeness is that zero alcohol spirits, wines and beers are completely fine, as they contain similar levels of alcohol as fruit juices. It's okay to want to aspire to that higher level of "safety" if you really feel you must, but it would be interesting to know if you also avoid fruit juices, fermented foods, and bread products. If you don't, why do you perceive these as being safe, but alcohol free spirits, wines and beers as not safe?

I’m not entirely sure why you’re this bothered.

I rarely eat bread because I just don’t like it, the same with fermented foods. I avoid fruit juices because they’re high sugar.

Wondering OP is playing a trick on us using grammar to see how many people jump to the wrong conclusion.

What about it makes you think it might not be ok, @Ellemay12 ?

None of us know what this poster has been through. There’s nothing wrong with someone wanting to “play it safe” - however that may look to them - while pregnant. It is known that many 0% alcohols have trace amounts (e.g 0.2, 0.5 etc), and so if someone has, for example, suffered a loss in the past or taken a longer time TTC they may be more anxious about these kinds of things. I don’t see the problem with someone being more cautious. Each to their own and if it brings mental peace, great.
