Did anyone have vaginal birth with endometriosis? When did your labor pain start? Is it more difficult with endo?

I have suspected endo. All my female family members also do (diagnosed), and they all had unmedicated births, as did I.
Wasn't nearly as bad as people make it out for me, and also didn't think it was any worse than my period pains, just more constant.

That being said I've not had a body without endo so nothing to compare it to....

I think birthing is so unique person to person, and pain is so subjective. You'll just kind of have to experience it yourself to know what it will be like for you.

My doctor told me that it is difficult to conceive with endo. So vaginal birth is somewhat risky for the baby. I am 38 weeks now but there is no sign of pain. Doctor is suggesting me to go for elective c section next week.

I think you have to follow your medical advice as endo impacts people differently depending in location and spread and every birth is different.

I have given birth twice. The contractions were not dissimilar to period pains for me for the first stage.

I’ve never heard that. I had vaginal deliveries with all of mine. My endo wasn’t even mentioned in pregnancy. If anything, having crippling monthly pain probably makes labour seem easier. My labours were no worse than my worst period pains (with the added bonus of knowing it won’t last for a week!)

I have endo and it took me longer to realise I was in labour than most as I was so used to pain I didn't twig it was contractions

Came here to say this!
I was induced with my first because my waters had broken a couple of days previously and nothing happened…..but my 2nd and 3rd, I went into spontaneous labour.
With the 2nd, I felt a few little niggles from about 4am, but didn’t actually realise I was in labour until about 8am when it ramped up a bit.
3rd one? Again I woke up with a few niggles, but didn’t think anything of it. Got DD1 up and dressed and walked her to school. Walked home and had a baby an hour later 😂😂🫠
Midwives showed up seconds after she was born.

This doesn't sound right.
It can be difficult to conceive with endo but conception difficulties don't translate into pregnancy or birth risks by default.
I have endo and no issues giving birth vaginally both times.

Hi everyone! I thought I would add our campaign link here which is aiming to tackle the systemic sexism women face within UK healthcare. Our campaign, 'Sexism in Healthcare Destroys Lives', is working to change the experience of women with endometriosis. I really hope this resonates with at least one of you? Please find more information on my own personal post :)
