Should I be going to GP

32 weeks here. I've been suffering from multiple rounds of a cold over a month (1 week on, a week recovered then another cold a week later). I've now got an ear infection from Sat night which I've been following NHS guidelines to wait a few days before going to the doctor as most ear infections clear up by themselves. My ear does feel better than it did (although still in pain) but now I'm worried it's gone to my throat as my cough has come back. This will be my 4th cold in under 2 months if so.

Meanwhile I'm also getting soreness on my bump - like a rash, though I can't see anything and it's not itchy. It's just a sore bit of skin near my belly button but it is bothering me. I've been having this on and off for a few weeks.

I will say I saw my midwife today and complained about ear infection/illnesses and she agreed it was just a normal weak immune system, and just to follow up with doctors for antibiotics if I wasn't better in a few days. Baby all fine at the appointment too. I felt fine about it earlier, maybe it's because I'm feeling so run down tonight but suddenly I'm just wondering if I need to book in to see the GP more urgently? I didn't mention about the skin soreness to the midwife but I've started to worry they might be connected, like meningitis or measles or something (IDK I'm not a doctor).

Is it just worth trying to get a GP appt tomorrow anyway just for a check over, even if my symptoms are getting better? I think I'm just concerned by the length of time I've been poorly. I don't like my GPs in honesty, they always seem to be trying to palm me off onto the midwife and find them quite dismissive so I don't feel super keen to approach them for essentially cold and non-urgent symptoms. But I'm just starting to worry I might be sitting on something more serious

Would you go to the GP with it if you weren't pregnant? If not then I would phone the midwife instead. Can you get her on the phone or will she phone you back within a day (or a different midwife)? If so that will be quicker. If she says the skin thing is a common symptom you'll be reassured, and if she doesn't know she will probably suggest seeing your GP and then you feel 'justified', especially since the GP is not helpful!
I wouldn't worry about the colds at all since you've already discussed those. There have been some funny on-and-off colds this year, my family have had it too, it lasted about six weeks.
