Cabin approved travel stroller

Can anyone recommend a decent travel stroller that is cabin approved and not completely flimsy? Mainly for DS who is 12 months (a very very tiny 12 months!) but we are ttc number 2.

Ive looked at and liked the Joolz Aer. Want to look at Cybex Libelle or Coya but can’t find them on display anywhere! Bugaboo Butterfly is nice but found the fold difficult. Yoyo felt so flimsy. We also like the Nuna TRVL but not sure if it’s cabin approved.

Does anyone have any of these that they would recommend? Or any others that we’ve missed?

I've used yoyo in total for 7 years for two dc and very happy with it. I've tried joolz aer and felt flimsy with the seating position but was a smooth push. The butterfly apparently not every airline accepts and didn't really like the push either.

I used an Ergobaby metro + (the brand that are most known for baby slings) I ended up using it as the main pram and not just for holidays in the end. Found it easy to fold and not too flimsy, I also liked you could lay it flat when little one napped too! It felt comfy. I chose to buy the safety bar you can add on separately too.

Yoyo is definitely not flimsy. Had plenty of life left in mine after two kids and a lot of use.

Our Joolz Aer was bought for a holiday and we loved it so much it became our main buggy. Genuine one hand fold and the inbuilt strap is super handy. Lots of people we know ended up buying one as they liked ours so.much.

Love our YoYo. It’s our only buggy. My daughter has always slept so well in it and it’s brilliant to take on holiday. We even rented a buggy board for it last year so our (then three year old) son could ride on the back.

My brother has the Aer and it is lovely too though.

love my yoyo

@Pinkstuffs whatever you choose, do look closely at the exact dimensions when it's folded, and compare that with the permitted size of large cabin bag of your most used airline.

I've seen several yoyos being refused onboard due to being ever so slightly too big (ryanair) . Not a huge deal since they just go in the hold and you collect later. But just so you're aware!

We have an adore a Cybex Beezy - sturdy, decent wheels, lie flat for naps. But I always gate check it.

We got the Ergobaby metro+ deluxe for our then 7month old for a holiday abroad. I have used it so much since then if it’s city/shopping etc because it’s so compact.

I would say it’s a bit bulkier than the others mentioned, so we put it in at the plane door, and collected it again on the carousel.

Also I find the collapse/open mechanism a bit faffy. It’s nothing that’s made me not use it, I just wish it was a bit easier.

It’s rated really good for comfort, has a bar across it, and lies flat which is great for naps and can be adequate from newborn. Although we only used it from 5m plus.

I did try a few of the others in a mamas and papas and wasn’t a fan of how flimsy they were. Someone recommended the Ergobaby and I’m still very happy with it. DS is now 2 and I use it occasionally for him, and we have another on the way.

We have a Joolz Aer. It's our main pram now as DS2 is 2 and we've got rid of the bugaboo bee we used to have with the bassinet, buggy board for the older one etc. I love it. It's really easy to fold and nice to push. I've used a friends yoyo and I do find them flimsy and have never liked them, but 50% of the people in the part of London I live in have them, so this is definitely personal preference!

Thanks all, our main pram is a mamas and papas occaro which I love, although it’s heavy it’s very sturdy and I can push it on all the trails where I live which I think is why the strollers feel so flimsy! I though the hood on the Yoyo was very flimsy.
