Morning! I’ve been craving blue cheese badly during this pregnancy. And Brie 🙈 any substitutes that are safe and may help ease my cravings?

You can eat them if cooked, so you could do a cheese fondue or toasties.

Toasties or paninis, or on pizza, or mixed in pasta and heated can help maybe?

As long as they are made using pasteurised milk, they will be OK. ( You need to check the label to check this).
It is the risk of unpasteurised ( or "raw") milk leading to possible Listeria that is dangerous.

This is what I thought- so have been eating Danish Blue - but then doubted myself and panicked. If it's true Castello Danish Blue and the supermarket Danish blue will be safe

Hard blue cheese like stilton is OK. It has to be pasteurised but also hard, not soft

Thanks everyone ! I didn’t know this about Stilton so will take a look at some and their ingredients when I’m next in the shops 😋

Saint Agur is pasteurised and I've eaten it a few times when craving!

Came to say St Agur. Totally fine in pregnancy!
