Should I have a 3rd c-section?

I'm looking for some advice really.
I have 2 earth babies and 12 angel babies, 2 c-sections, one emergency and one elective.

I have been diagnosed with adenomyosis, so we are thinking of trying for our 3rd before it gets worse.

Has anyone else had 3 c-sections? I'm scared of the risk numbers really and my added condition onto it. I am booked in on the 4th April to speak to someone who will go through figures with me and the pros and cons

Thank you

No experience myself, but I have several friends who’ve had three c-sections. It all depends how much your condition will complicate things I suppose, as it’s not necessarily a problem.

Sorry for all your losses, that must be so hard.

I’ve had 4 if it helps? Recovery from the 4th was the best because I knew it was happening and I knew how to maximise recovery. At the surgery I asked the consultant about how things were looking in there and she said it was great. After 2 ask for a consultant to do the surgery, and they make sure to tidy things up for you

Sorry for what youve been through thats really tough. It's not purely number of sections that's really the problem, 3 sections is relatively common on the elective list. Obviously more sections combined with endo/myositis etc = more scat tissue, more difficulties operating, more chance of scar rupture, more chance of abnormal placental implantation and things like placenta praevia/acreta/percreta etc where the placenta invades and can cause caterstrophic bleeding. Think you need a long chat with an obs&gynae Dr with copies of your last section operation notes (and any other abdo surgery you've had) so they can tell you how much scar tissue is there and the risks involved x
