Pregnant after early miscarriage TW MC

Hello, I am seeking advice/ hear others experiences of conceiving following miscarriage. I found out I was pregnant with my first on 3 February. Going by my app I would have been 3+6. I started spotting on the 10 February and then miscarried on 16 February (so just over the 5 week mark). I bled for a few days after that. It was early but it was devastating.

The EPAU were great and the doctor advised we could try whenever we felt ready. I felt a bit 'off' on the 17th March and did a test but it looked negative. Yesterday (18th) I did another FResponse & it was positive, very faint. I followed this with a CB digital and it says 1-2 weeks. This morning (19th) I did a cheapie Clear & Simple and it was negative. A regular CB gave just the faintest line. I think I am imagining it all.

The EPAU discharged me from the service on 8 March as my HcG was just 3. So if I have a faint positive two weeks later I must be super early? Or am I overdoing the tests & seeing what I want? I had no period in between. Should the tests be darker?

Hi, miscarriages are absolutely devastating no matter how early or late. Hope you're managing mentally.
It sounds like if the tests are very faint that potentially you're just early testing. Especially if you haven't had a period inbetween, You're body could have ovulated later this cycle than you think. And the different tests have different sensitivities. Personally I stick to one test type as I can see clearish any progression or fading for chemicals, you may find that easier than the ambiguity of multiple brands.

I've had mc and had no delays in ovulation, but I've also had miscarriages and huge delays in ovulation.
Fingers crossed for you it's just early and not a chemical, only time will tell. Good luck to you op 🤞

sounds like an early pregnancy!

i had the same thing with DS who is now 4- i was testing to make sure my hcg was clear and got a faint positive (called epu and they said to test again in 2 weeks as sometimes it can take time to clear our systems) - fast forward two weeks and AF never turned up (took a clear blue and it showed 3+)! Good luck hoping this a sticky bean for you 🌈 x

Thank you so much for sharing and I am sorry for your losses. I really hope it's not a chemical. I will take your advice on board about sticking to one brand. I have ordered some First Response and will stick with them.

Thank you for sharing, I am glad to read that you had a happy ending 😊I really hope it's a sticky bean too. I can't wait to be a mum. Fingers crossed. I'll try to hold off testing again for a few days.

I always find threads that have no update. For anyone reading this, unfortunately for me this was a chemical. I continued to show very faint lines but only on first response. The next time I used a CB digital it read not pregnant. By the Sunday of this week (so 5 days after the first faint positive) I started having period cramp pain and my bleeding started.
