Has anyone used kick counters?

I've just entered my 3rd trimester (28 weeks), and I have to admit, I'm feeling pretty anxious about this whole pregnancy journey!

I have an anterior placenta, so I know kicks aren't as strong a first, and I'm on my feet all day working as a reception teacher. I'm probably missing a lot of movement just by running around at school as I feel them pretty regularly on the weekends. Mondays and Tuesdays are the worst for my mental health as I go from 2 days of constant movement to noticing it very little.

Does anyone have any suggestions for ways to manage this? I still have a LOT of work to get through before I go on maternity leave.

No I don't and I think it would make any anxiety around this even worse.

I had an anterior placenta with my first so I totally understand as I really struggled to feel anything at all and was in a lot with reduced movements in the third trimester. I had extra scans and she'd be moving like crazy yet I couldn't feel a thing - so stressful.

If I'd been using a kick counter I'd have been in every single day.

My midwife always said it's better to get in tune with your own pattern....that means learning when your quieter times and busier times are so that becomes your normal.
I certainly never got the 'so many movements every couple of hours' but I had a time in the morning and in the evening when I would be able to relax and tune into the movements. That might be your max on your busy days and, if it is, then that's OK.
Sometimes I would have to do the cold sugary drink and lie on side trick. If still nothing and I hadn't felt anything all day, then I'd ring up.

She was always fine and is now a very lively 4.5 year old.

Having an AP is the worst when you're already quite anxious so you have to find what works best for you and your baby.
