Hi!
I had an early scan at roughly 5+5 today as I had an ectopic a few months ago.
During the scan, I was told it's located in the right place this time but when I got home I read on the paper they gave me that it's "eccentrically placed gestation sac."
I have no idea what this means and can't find much when Googling it, aside from bad things?
Why would they not have said anything while scanning me? They made it seem as if all was fine?
This is exactly what it said: "Seen in the endometrial cavity is an eccentrically placed gestation sac, yolk sac seen. Fetal pole seen with CRL = 2.6mm ~ 5 weeks+. Fetal heart pulsation seen. Both ovaries appear normal with a corpus luteum on the right ovary. No adnexal masses or free fluid seen.
Comment: Single viable intrauterine pregnancy ~ 5 +."
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
