Hi all,

I'm 6w6d pregnant and have been struggling with really bad nausea for the last week. I am a very health conscious person and before the nausea hit, I had meal prepped healthy meals for the following week but I can't even bear to touch them! The things that I usually love and eat weekly are making me feel incredibly nauseated. Thankfully I haven't vomited but I think it's only because I've been eating really bland food for the last week- bread, crackers, potatoes.

The only prenatals I take are vit d, folic acid and omegas because my diet was otherwise very good but now I'm a bit worried that I'm going to develop some deficiencies given how the last week has been. I've ordered some new prenatals which arrive tomorrow thankfully.

Anyone else been in this boat and everything been OK?

Tia x

I lived on chips from the chip shop when I was pregnant, that's all I could stomach most days😂 did not help that it was all I craved😅 just get yourself some multivitamins and crack on eating whatever you can manage. I'd bet most pregnant women eat alot of crap they normally wouldn't when they're feeling so nauseous

8 weeks here and I could have written this post. Currently living on Ready Salted crisps and Rich Teas like some kind of beige food gremlin. DH made a lovely salmon dinner last night and I had to leave the room before it even hit the plate. The smell. THE SMELL. My midwife basically said eat whatever stays down and do not beat yourself up about it. The baby is the size of a raspberry and apparently quite happy to steal nutrients from your reserves. The prenatal is doing the heavy lifting right now. Hang in there. Apparently weeks 8-10 are peak misery and then it eases for most people.
