Morning sickness worse at 11weeks?!

Did anyone else find their morning sickness getting worse at 11 weeks?

I'm feeling pretty miserable. I've been nauseous all day and throwing up night and day. I feel so lazy in bed all day especially when the weather is so good and feel bad for not being able to play with my daughter.

I'm so desperate to feel normal 😢

There honestly is no normal when it comes to pregnancy symptoms.

My mum had 4 kids and not a bit of sickness with any of us..... wish I could say the same.....

First pregnancy, mine started at 7 weeks and I'd say it peaked between 10 and 13 weeks. It eventually went completely around 18 weeks.

Current (second) pregnancy, it started earlier at 5.5 weeks and was horrendous until about 15 weeks. It didn't go then but it became a bit more manageable until the third trimester when it got really bad again.
I'm currently 37 weeks and throwing up daily.

If you find you are being sick multiple times a day and it is really becoming debilitating, get in touch with your GP. It could be hypermesis gravidarum which you will need medication for.

As pp said I don’t think there is a normal.

In my last pregnancy my sickness started at 7 weeks, and reached a peak at 14 weeks (it increased in frequency). Then suddenly stopped at 14 weeks.

This time it started at 4 weeks, increased in frequency, it was horrible at 8.5 weeks and I couldn’t do anything apart from go between the bed and bathroom so I was worried I had another 5 weeks of it but it suddenly disappeared at 9 weeks.

Good luck, hopefully yours will disappear soon.

It is the worst, I really feel for you! Have you thought about getting some medication from your doctor? I struggled with feeling and being sick and the doctor prescribed me Xonvea. Without that I wouldn’t have been able to cope. It worked wonders!

Mine really ramped up at 12 weeks and it got to the point I couldn't keep water down. I then went on medication and now I'm completely better. I would advise speaking to GP asap to get prescribed. The first one they gave me didn't work I had to have a different type

As horrible as it is, I am reassured to know it’s not just me. Because sometimes I feel like it is.

Currently 11 weeks + 5. I have had horrendous nausea since 7 weeks where I felt that I couldn’t even lift my head off the pillow and started occasionally vomiting from 8-9weeks. Usually in the morning. 11 weeks hit and I have been vomiting every other day. Sometimes up to 3-4 times. There was a day where I counted 9 times. Literally couldn’t bare it anymore and got some cyclizine from GP. Which I didn’t feel hugely supported to take if I’m honest. I am so happy about this pregnancy and can’t believe I’m even here at 11 weeks, but f*?!k me it’s hard and I wasn’t prepared for it!

My daughter is the fourth known generation to have HG. My gran, my mother and I were sick all the way through all our pregnancies, me whilst in induced labour with the same daughter.
Yes, seek medical help and take whatever as needed. But try not to think of yourself as ‘sick’ and just get on with life. My daughter took some persuading that she wasn’t ill but now admits that change of approach definitely helped. Never go anywhere without a plastic bag in your pocket!
