Hi all first time poster here.
I'm currently 6 weeks + 5
Bang on 6 weeks I started with horrific nausea and 2 days ago was vomiting and spent the whole day exhausted and unwell. The following day I felt ok still averse to certain foods and smell but th nausea had gone. I feel a bit ropey today but not as bad as two days ago.
My questions is...after a Google (I know probably shouldn't Google things) Google suggested that my nausea should be consistent and constant and if it's otherwise is likely that I have a hormone imbalance that may mean it he pregnancy has ended?
I have my booking in appointment on Monday but wondering if anyone else pregnant or with previous pregnancies had varying levels of nausea/ sickness day to day?
First pregnancy and literally anxious over everything at the moment as we had been trying for ever and we're both shocked that we actually got a BFP!!

You could also have a stomach bug.

There is no normal to morning sickness. Some people are constantly sick through their whole pregnancy, some get nausea but no sickness, some get nothing or little blips.

I was puking 10+ times most days until babe was born with both of mine, but some random days was completely fine and had nothing.

Yeah I feel like that's the case. There's loads of information on how it varies from person to person but all of the information on you varying each day is worrying so that's good to hear thank you

The early weeks are a stressful time, try not to dive too hard into Google and take each day as it comes. X

Normal to fluctuate, mine would follow how tired I was, if I did too much or ate too little I'd feel far worse so I learn to snack little bits constantly and sit down as much as possible

There is no normal at all, OP. My sister in law had sickness and nausea that was intermittent for a few weeks but disappeared at 12 weeks. I had sickness which had me vomiting 10+ times a day for 8 months (I was hospitalised twice in that time). It really varies. Try not to read too much about it, the online advice is not terribly helpful!

With every pregnancy I’ve had (both those that ended in my child and those that sadly ended in a miscarriage) I’ve had nausea that varied significantly, both within a day and between different days. I’ve never seen anything/been told that it needs to be constant and consistent!

No such thing as normal.

I'm at here now at 37 weeks still puking my guts up - mine has been on and off the entire pregnancy this time.

I have had three pregnancies with hyperemesis and the first week of nausea and vomiting was inconsistent and generally by about 7 weeks I'm bound to the sofa /toilet.

Current pregnancy, semi consistent nausea for a week triggered me taking a pregnancy test I now know I was about 7 weeks. I was sick once or twice the following week with a little bit of nausea so quite different from my previous pregnancies!

Given my history I was started on antiemetics which has completely removed my nausea and vomiting but if I miss my morning dose I'm sick or nauseous in the afternoon.

Normal to fluctuate. Try to 'enjoy' the good days rather than increasing your suffering by worrying. I know it's hard. 6 miscarriages and 3 successful pregnancies so I understand the stress 🤞
