Any morning sickness food ideas when I say sickness I mean all day long unless I starve! Trying plain toast for breakfast as my friend recommended any ideas for meals you tolerated ?

Plain food made me feel more sick, I got on really well with pineapple, strawberries and cucumber. Not really whole meals, but at least I could cut up a cucumber and snack on the whole thing throughout the day.
I was occasionally able to have plain yogurt with strawberries, so would eat that most evenings.

I found the plain dry foods (crackers, toast, pasta, potatoes) that were recommended made my throat feel dry which made my sickness worse. I'd see what takes your fancy and try a few things out. A friend of mine could only eat McDonalds fries without feeling ill!

I also agree plain food did nothing for me, the texture just made my mouth dry. I preferred juicy refreshing foods. I had a lot of fruit, smoothies like ^ cucumbers went down well. I also enjoyed cereal.

Perhaps quite a high sugar diet but gotta do what you gotta do.

Mine may be different as I never got general nausea, it was just nausea when it came to eating (still have it at 19 weeks) and my diet is pretty boring right now, lots of fruit and yoghurt.

McDonald's chips and fresh squeezed lemonade were the things I craved and could stomach.

Greek yogurt with fruit and honey, because it filled me up so kept the nausea at bay for a while.
White toast with butter and marmite.
Sour apple sweets.
Soup.
I basically survived off of white bread and sweets for about 6 weeks though. Not the healthiest but better than nothing!
I found anything greasy or fried made me feel worse.

Citrus fruit for me helped. Whether eating it or as a fruit drink.
I found the tangy-ness took away the awful hungover type taste I constantly had!

The main thing is to try and stay hydrated as you can easily become dehydrated..... even just tiny sips as often as you can manage.

Food wise, just literally whatever you can stomach. For me I could manage a cracker, a few salt and vinegar crisps, a little bit of melon.....
The first trimester is about survival so you just do whatever you can to get through it

I had Hyperemesis and before I started medication would have appletiser to sip here and there for sugar.
Once I was medicated I was still sicky and nauseous but things I enjoyed were pasta with cheese sauce and olives or jalapeños. I think cereal also was a good one.

Fresh fruit and veg were about the only thing I could stomach!

The only things I could eat were Sainsbury’s spinach and ricotta tortellini with a bit of butter and coco pops. All I ate for first 4 months.
