Hi, had it with my first but was he was born average wait at 40 + 1 weeks, no issues whatsoever. I worried the whole pregnancy! I wasn't told to take aspirin but I know it is usually recommended.
I'm currently pregnant again and have it this time too (midwives were shocked as it's not common to have once never mind twice).
I'm having growth scans again but all good so far and feel much better.
I believe the placenta can start to fail near the end of pregnancy hence they keep a closer eye on it, but if your having regular scans they should spot any issues!

I had this with my third pregnancy. Baby was absolutely fine. Fairly petite, and the smallest of my babies, and much smaller than their sibling of the same sex. But whether that was related or not, nobody can be sure. My placenta apparently looked absolutely fine. Baby was born a few days before my due date with no issues.

I have had this in both pregnancies. I have taken aspirin throughout. My first baby measured big and was large at birth, my second looks to be following the same trajectory. I worried so much about it when first informed, but I needn't have. The real positive is you will get some extra monitoring which is a bonus. They will do a doppler scan to check blood flow and extra growth scans later on - so you get to see more of baby. Try not to worry.
