Hi just curious, my last period was on the 13th of January and i believed i ovulated on the 26 i have now missed my expected period by 2 days if i was pregnant would it definitely show by now? Like what if i ovulated later than i thought i have checked on the nhs app and it says i would be about 3 weeks pregnant if i was?

I'd give it a few more days and test again. I don't really know either way, but fwiw my dates were out by a week by the time I had a scan at EPU and midwife suggested I ovulated earlier than normal. I reckon if I can ovulate earlier, then you could ovulate later! Fingers crossed for you. 🤞🏼

It’s always possible to ovulate earlier or later than expected. Unless you confirm ovulation with a scan (or to a lesser extent your temperature), you can never be 100% sure when you ovulate.
For most people, they will get a positive test around 10-14 days after they ovulate. For some it can be slightly earlier. Others it takes a bit longer. As a rule, until you get your period there is always a chance. For those with regular cycles who are pretty sure they know when they ovulated, if they don’t get a positive test by 13 or 14dpo it’s most likely they are not pregnant. But as I said, there is always that chance until your period shows up.

OP, if you did ovulate later than you thought and are only 3 weeks pregnant that would likely not show up yet. Most people don’t get a positive test until almost 4 weeks pregnant which is around 10-14 days past ovulation.

I have tried doing a due date calculator on the nhs app and it says if i was to be pregnant i would only be around 3 weeks that may be a why it is not showing up? Or maybe i am just going to have a later period?

Are you using a calculator that uses last period as a date or ovulation date? Pregnancies are dated from your last period (even though you are not actually pregnant for 2-3 weeks of that).
So if your last period was 13th January and you were pregnant now, you would be classed as 4 weeks pregnant. But that is going on a standard 28 day cycle where you ovulated on day 14 or there abouts. If you are officially two days late on your period you must have a fairly standard 28 ish day cycle then? So you would be classed as 4 weeks pregnant if indeed you were pregnant. So I’m not sure how a calculator is saying 3 weeks.

The last period date which was the 13th of January yes, i think my cycle is usually around 29 days, im not too sure myself with the calculator i only looked as it is a nhs one :)
