Hi loves, today I had my cervical check for chromosomal disorder and vaginal infection. As a first time mom and first try at 12 weeks pregnant it hurts so baddd. Literally I had cramps on my lower stomach so much like literally pressure and cramps. The doctor said that you may bleed since your cervix its quite sensitive but it's okay.
I was scared when i wiped myself from the blood that it came out. After some hours I took a shower and take some rest, but still i have a little little bit of bleeding like brownish not light blood 🩸. Im even afraid to walk freely??? Sometimes my stomach hurts, even though i was so good until today.
Will it go away, has somebody experienced something like that??
Im kindaa scared to even walk 🥹

Hey OP, I've not heard of a cervical check until very late stages, I had a cervical scan due to previous lletz but it was an ultrasound. Can you speak with your doctor to find out if this is normal symptoms after? Completely understand why it would be worrying but can definitely understand your cervix being sensitive

I couldn't find the exact words about that, it is called Pap Test in our country which helps to find other conditions such like vaginal infections or inflammation, it is usually done as a pelvic exam.

In the U.K., Pap tests are delayed until 12 weeks after a woman has given birth, they don't give them during pregnancy for various reasons. For the same reasons, they don't really do pelvic exams unless there is a specific concern with the the pregnancy/cervix. Cervical checks are done with ultrasound and swabs are taken as high vaginal swabs, not usually cervical unless labour is imminent.

I would go back to your doctor and talk about the residual symptoms you're having. Sorry I can't be more help, OP.
