I have horrible sickness, I'm only physically sick once a day like clockwork between 0630-0700, but the sickness feeling is all day long. Today it's horrendous I feel like I have no energy and can barely get out of bed, I can't eat properly and I just feel so sick.

What helped with your sickness please ladies? Two previous pregnancies and none of this!

I'll be 9 weeks Monday x

It's horrendous isn't it. I've had it much worse in this pregnancy than I did in my first.

The first trimester for me was just a matter of survival. I went off a lot of food and smells would set me off so it was mainly little bits of crackers or crisps, a little bit of melon or a couple of grapes. I couldn't manage much and actually lost weight in the first 12 weeks.

The main thing is to make sure you stay hydrated or you'll end up dehydrated so again, tiny regular sips were the key.

Get as much rest as possible, crackers may help xx

This was me in my first pregnancy. My nausea started on the day I found out I was pregnant and was my trigger to test.
My nausea lasted all day and I vomited multiple times daily.
Midwife told me it was normal so knowing no different, I suffered in silence.

After vomiting several times in the car on my way to my 12 week scan, I spoke to my GP and the prescribed anti-sickness medication. It helped, but didnt stop the sickness entirely.
In the end, I managed to weigh less at full term pregnant than I did before I conceived!

Rest as much as you can. Eat whatever you fancy and consider medication from your GP.
Wishing you all the best.

I found sucking on calippos and polo mints provided some temporary relive from the constant nausea

Honestly I don't think anyone can prepare you for just how bad it can be. I am currently 10 weeks with my second and it's awful. I've just started some anti sickness tablets from my gp which I don't take last night round.

Fjnd the foods which you can cope with and eat them. It will pass and don't be afraid to seek help for it. I find grapes good and helpful when I'm thirsty.
