Best double buggy Newborn & Toddler

I'm due in March and my Toddler will be 19 months when baby arrives.
I need a lightweight double buggy that's comfortable for them both. Both seats need to recline as toddler still naps.

Any advice on tandems v side by side? Best brands and lightweight and easy to put up and down appreciated

Outnabout nipper 360 was amazing for me, absolutely loved it.

I've got the mountain buggy duet. Easy enough to push, lightweight, decent size basket underneath and I've managed to get it on all the local buses of different sizes ! It is the narrowest on the market, gets through all doors, dd1 is now 28 months and still in it with her 1 year old sister, must say it's a workout now though pushing it uphill with them both in and shopping !!

I would say though, try and get second hand if you can ! The doubles plus any extras are so expensive

I think I’m in the minority, but I prefer tandems. I have had the Bugaboo Donkey, and found it quite stressful to navigate in busy areas due to the width.

I have the Icandy Peach 7, as I like the fact it has a built in buggy board for when my 2 year old is ready to walk more, plus they convert to single pushchairs.

Definitely depends on your lifestyle - a more outdoorsy family may prefer the likes of a duet or nipper double, but for around town, a tandem is better in my opinion

I loved my baby jogger double. I had a 17m gap and a 22m gap.

light, really easy to fold, narrow. Reasonably cheap secondhand but really reliable

I have this too and it’s great!

I picked ours up for £60 from Facebook marketplace.

I like that the baby seat can parent face.

Ours has a break. Wrist strap and lockable front wheels so I use it at a running buggy too.

Brilliant for fitting through doors. Easy to fold.

I really liked the bugaboo donkey but they cost the same as a second hand car 🤣

Thank you I am currently looking at all of these and scrolling through market place too at your suggestions.

Out n about nipper. I have a 19month age gap and it was brilliant. I had the mountain buggy duet first and found it too heavy, so sold it and got the nipper.

Baby jogger. Fab baby, huge seats and sunshades, solid wheels so you don't get punctures looking at you Donkey singlehand fold and folds really small.

I hate to say it but it really depends on your lifestyle, and how long you plan to use it. We hardly use the car and have a decent sized entryway and the bugaboo donkey has been a dream for us.

I measured every doorway I could find before ordering it. I was also encouraged by my nephew (aged 4!) demanding a sit down in a buggy on a day out (so thought we would get good use out of it!). If you are in and out of the car or your children are more active then a giant donkey wouldn’t work so well for you!

Update after all your suggestions and watching YouTube videos of each one I purchased a baby jogger.
Thanks all
