Concerned about slow rising hcg levels

Hello,
This will be my first time posting here, I am currently very nervous as I found out last Wednesday I am around 4/5 weeks pregnant,
however due to a previous ectopic pregnancy, I have been having some tests and I am booked in for a scan this coming week.
I am currently very concerned as I had two blood tests 48 hours apart, my first hcg levels were measuring as 5,138 IU/L and 48 hours later had only increased to 6,285 IU/L, so my levels are not doubling as normal.
The doctor has told me these results are 'suboptimal' and to wait for my scan.

I think I am just looking for anyone who is willing to share similar stories or offer any reassurance, I feel I am expecting the worst and I am so anxious about my upcoming scan.

I really hope your scan went well. I know how nerve-wracking it is waiting and the anxiety that comes with not knowing, luckily everything seems to be progressing however conception was much earlier than originally thought xx
