The fatigue and sickness is so intense and my toddler is binge watching tv I feel so guilty but can't really peel myself off the couch!

Girl you are surviving right now!! Be kinder to yourself! I’m 10 weeks today, with a 9 month old. I have been extremely lucky, with my daughter I had HG and struggled massively. This time around I have zero symptoms, no nausea or sickness etc and thankfully can be present and enjoy this time! But I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you! Rest as much as you can, and if toddler needs to watch tv to help you get through then that’s what needs to be. Don’t be so hard on yourself, I hope you feel better soon x

Thank you so much! That is amazing news that you don't have the sickness this time!!!!x

I'm 38 weeks with an 18 month old...she's poorly off nursery today so definitely sat in front of the TV! No guilt, she's happy ... you gotta do what you gotta do! X

The first trimester is very hard, and with a toddler too. Hopefully you will improve soon once you reach the second trimester.

I had days where I was just running to the toilet to be sick and leaving my toddler in the livingroom, or when it got so bad DH had to look after him the whole day.

Im now 27 weeks and while it got a lot better in the second trimester, it also didn’t because DS brings back every cold and bug going and I catch them all.

I still think the first trimester is the worst.

Yes! I’ve got an 18 month old, I’m only 5 weeks though so the symptoms haven’t ramped up yet! Don’t feel guilty, I think you just need to survive 🤣

I’m currently 33 weeks so I was in the first trimester last summer, when my son was 17 months and honestly the TV was on a lot. Mr Tumble or Hey Duggee on repeat while he emptied his entire toy box onto the floor (for DH to tidy when he got home 😆) and me curled up on the sofa with frequent dashes to the toilet to be sick. MIL would sometimes come round to take him out for a few hours so I could sleep. Don’t feel guilty!

9 weeks with a 12 month old! Oh god I can absolutely relate. I used to be like a crazy person during her naps, getting so much housework done. Now I can barely stay awake myself. Also constantly starving but the thought of eating anything makes me nauseous.

13 weeks here with a toddler, it’s a lot but thankfully my DH has been on hand to look after all day but I get what you mean about guilt and feeling bad, the house is nowhere near my standards of living but when the fatigue, nausea, uti, headaches, constant A&E visits are relentless, I can barely move beyond that, let alone race around and make sure everything is spotless and I’m really struggling with that because I swear I have ocd and I need everything to be absolutely perfect for me to be able to really relax and although DH has largely taken over cleaning duties, my standards of cleanliness are impossible to achieve unless it’s a fellow ocder 😭 can’t wait to feel human again and be able to whizz around like I used to, I took those days for granted, never will I again 😭

11.5 weeks with a 10 month old and a 5 year old.

We are surviving. Barely!
