Pelive Floor Exercise

Hi everyone, I recently found out I was pregnant for the second time and I need to do pelvic floor exercises (first baby was 5 years ago) just wondering if anyone knew any free apps which had exercises / games to encourage to do it.

I had a free app last time and used to complete the exercises everyday without fail, but I cannot seem to find any free ones this time round? Any suggestions to keep me motivated?

Thanks!

NHS squeezy app is only a couple of £’s and gives you daily reminders to do. Maybe set for 4x per day.
There are also women’s physios on TikTok who do a daily squeeze along.

Every woman should be doing PVF everyday, regardless of if they are pregnant or not tbh. I see a lot of older women with continence issues because they’ve never, or rarely, done PFE. I know it seems a long way off, but the reduction in oestrogen during peri/menopause has a huge effect on pf muscle strength.

Google gusset grippers for full instructions. Many women don’t realise you need to squeeze your anus (as if stopping a fart) as well as squeezing as if stopping the urine flow.

Thank you @IdLikeMyMomentInTheSunshine I have tried to the NHS app but unfortunately it is by invite only as it needs a login. I will ask my midwife next time I have an appointment.

Will check out your othe rsuggestions. Thank you!

I used one calledKegel

Free and does everything the squeezy app does as far as I can see, including reminders
