Hi its the day of my period and i has experienced not my usual heavier bleeding a lighter bleeding and decided to take a pregnancy test as it should be quite accurate the day of a missed period and i keep getting lines on the testing lines same thickness as control line but i cant see no colour… does anyone know why this is happening please?

Are you checking the line within the timeframe? If it’s outwith the time frame then it’s usually just the test drying up.
If the line comes up within the timeframe then I’d buy a digital test to reassure yourself.

I think within the time and i have done quite a few tests and its all the same… which i find quite strange

can you post a photo? i’d agree with doing a digital, if you’re pregnant and getting lines the same thickness of the control within the timeframe the digital should pick it up.

Agree that it is best to use a digital. That way you don’t need to mess about with looking for lines that may or may not be there. On the day of your period a digital should be about 95% accurate. Try and use the 6 day early clearblue one that measures from 10miu.

Are they all the same brand/ from the same box and are they internet cheapos?

If so, you need to go and buy a proper test like a clear blue/ first response etc from a shop and try that, and look at it within the timeframe. You don't need a digital, just a good brand and follow the instructions properly.

The cheap internet tests do this sometimes.

Is this your first day of testing?

BingoLarge · 13/01/2025 13:27
