Hey,
I've had a lot of losses in the past and so I understand that a "line is a line".. doesn't always work out.

Has anyone experience with the Easy at Home brand please? I had dark lines on a FRER a few days ago.

This was 5pm urine but I'm pretty sure if I'm 5 weeks pregnant that the line should be showing darker and at any time of day. Nothing to compare it with yet but whilst I sit anxiously for tomorrow... has anyone had similar looking lines? (Sometimes cheapies take a while to go dark.. I dunno..) Or maybe it's starting to get lighter and hcg dropping Xx

Until tomorrow morning...Easy at home 20DPO.. opinions please

I really hope everything is ok for you.

I have my follow up scan on Thursday at the EPU - 2 weeks since the first one where they could only see yolk sack.
I have been feeling really really nauseous though so I’m hopeful. I really really hope you have a positive outcome or at least a resolution one way or another so you can grieve and move forward. What a rollercoaster it has been for you 😔

@Itonlytakesone aww I'm sorry, it's such a hard time :-(
If it helps in anyway.. there's always hope. I've had so many losses/chemicals and I managed to have my son. I got pregnant with him the same cycle after a loss too. Always hope for the future xx

Hi just updating.. the scan confirmed that it has stopped growing. So the lighter than usual pregnancy tests at 4 weeks were a good indicator of slow growth. Followed by the scans that measured behind, which were in line with this theory.

I really encourage early scans as this has helped me to come to terms with something, and managed expectations. Rather than leaving it until a 12 week scan holding onto a thought such as "I am pregnant today". In reality, that's not going to help if the pregnancy isn't working out.

Good luck to you all xx

@Anon1983fox
I'm sorry 😞, having been through this myself last year I completely agree I found out at a private scan 6 weeks so it was a lot easier to come to terms with. I struggled until the pregnancy symptoms left me (more the emotional ones) at 9 wk d&c then I got my head back and could move on. Good luck to you ♥️rest you got this

I’m so sorry for your loss.
I hope you can at least now gain closure. X

TheQuietestSpace · 05/02/2025 17:06

I'm so sorry. I am pleased you finally have some closure on the uncertainty. I agree completely about the early scans and testing. X

How did you get on today @Mooey89 ?

Mooey89 · 09/02/2025 16:32

@Itonlytakesone i wasn’t going to comment due to OPs loss.
Very fortunately they saw a heartbeat and I had shown 2 weeks growth.
thank you for asking.

Happydays2025 · 10/02/2025 11:46

OP I hope you are doing OK.
Having been in your situation (5 losses) I can say with certainty that referring myself to Professor Brosens for testing was the best thing I ever did. He researches recurrant miscarriage and this was a turning point for us. X

Sorry to read of your outcome.
For me, easy at home has always been a good indicator with chemicals....

How are you doing now OP?
