Farm animals - pregnant?!

Hellooo,

i have been asked to go and do some filming for a farm for work and I’m nearly 5 weeks pregnant. Does this pose any risk? I’m worried with ewes being pregnant with the lambing season coming up and livestock etc.

Thanks

It really depends what level of contact you’re going to have to have with the animals. If you’re just going to be at the farm at a distance from the animals then it’s fine, but if you’re going to be up close, physically touching them then I wouldn’t risk it

Where appropriate footwear (with good grip) follow good hygiene.. wash hands etc

Lambing season isn't here just yet, if you are just filming, and not handling, you will be ok, and let the farmer know too.

Eta - but if your too worried and can turn it down without problem, let someone else do it.

Lambs have been born already on some farms. I thought it was too early but I’ve seen photos of a colleague with this years lambs already.

Ahhh okay I guess I’ll need to tell work then! I’m not too sure if I want to risk it as i have no idea if the farm even has pregnant ewes or what we will be filming yet!
