Does Cephalic position mean baby is ready?

At my last growth scan at 29 weeks (I'm now 30+2), I can see from my notes that baby was in cephalic position. I can feel a lot of weird movement down there so googled the position and found it's the position they enter in the weeks before labour. Obviously I'm still a good number of weeks away from that yet, so I just wondered if this was considered normal at this stage! Could it mean he may come early? Tia 💐

It just means baby is head down. They can flip and turn before due date but generally settle into position from around 34 weeks and don't tend to move then.
It doesn't mean the baby will come early no, it's just the positioning.

No it doesn’t mean anything 🙂 mine was the same at 30 weeks and then the next day she was horizontal and then back to head down. They move around loads when they are that stage because they still have lots of room. From about 34 weeks they should shift to be head down and stay there.

It's good they're head down but doesn't mean anything in regards to when they'll arrive. Its very common for babies heads to engage in the pelvis (you'll know, it's uncomfortable!) but stay in position for weeks before deciding to appear. Sorry!
