Can’t put my finger on it

I’m 15 weeks today and I regular feel washed out at least once a day. I’m trying to take it as easy as possible but I’m finding it difficult with just general daily tasks tiring me out.

I’m struggling with food. No matter what I eat or drink I feel awful afterwards. Almost like I can’t digest it properly. It’s easy to liken this to feeling nauseous but I’m not sure it’s that.

I get this uneasy feeling in my chest/stomach area and it feels similar to anxiety symptoms I’ve had before. I don’t feel anxious about anything in particular but it just doesn’t go away. Often if I can, when I eat I will try to sleep afterwards as I find this helps, but this isn’t always possible.

Everything appears to be moving along nicely and things are normal according to results. Due to see consultant on Tuesday. Any helpful advice welcomed.

Sounds like indigestion x

ChocHotolate · 01/12/2024 22:09

Yep, adults can get silent reflux too

Sjpeapod7 · 01/12/2024 22:30

What is silent reflux? @ChocHotolate

It’s not an indigestion type feeling, it’s strange.

I’ve taken my aspirin in water this evening and I still feel odd. Like shaky on the inside but not actually shaking too.

I don’t look forward to eating atm as I know I’ll feel like this and my appetite is beginning to drop. I’m obviously still making myself eat but it’s a battle. Water seems to settle better than anything. I’m not drinking tea and find I feel worse after squash. I feel full quickly and trying to eat little but often but I still don’t feel any better.

Odd, really does sound like indigestion/heartburn Daffodil

Hi hun, it sounds like you are going through a difficult time and hope it gets better. I had a similar experience and the only thing I could keep down was smoothie like drinks. Everything else I ate felt more mechanical and forced.

Low blood sugar? Can make you feel shaky if you're not eating regularly. Try to
Nibble a little something thru the day.
