My DS2 had hiccups just about everyday during the second half of my pregnancy with him.
He is now 52, drives a double decker bus and is a father and a grandfather.
Thankyou for this thread.Back in the days when I was expecting him no one believed me about his hiccups, and some even laughed at me!.I swear that at times I could actually hear him!

My first had occasional hiccups, once every day probably. My second the same, my third baby had them normally (for me) up until about 24 weeks then it was several times a day, sometimes up to 15 times.

It turned out to be a severe congenital defect but it is very very rare and I'm sure not what your baby is experiencing. We did not know about it until after her birth and she did survive thankfully.

Always check, wish I'd pushed more to check this out but I thought it was daft to ask about excessive hiccups.

It feels like a small kick but it will have a rhythm to it
