Hi all
First time pregnancy here - very excited but also very nervous!
To cut a long story short I am 9 weeks pregnant today, but feel that my symptoms have started to wain off?
I have never had morning sickness (lucky me) but I did have some fatigue, sore breasts, and constipation.
For the past few days I've felt well, I don't feel any more tired that normal, and just feel like I did pre pregnancy.
I've tried to talk to my GP but they just put me through to the midwife who said that this can be normal and I should just count myself lucky and enjoy it, but I'm pretty much in tears every day now because I'm so worried something has gone wrong.
I've had no abdominal pain or bleeding, I had a scan in EPAU at 6 weeks because I was unwell and a private scan at 7 weeks and both were fine, baby was well and thriving.
The midwife said the NHS won't scan me just for a lack of symptoms, and I should just pay for another private scan but I can't afford another £65.
Has anyone else had an experience like this and know what I should do next?
Anyone had no symptoms and gone on to have a healthy baby?
I've never been pregnant before and I'm just up the wall with worried.

For context I'm 31, non smoker, and haven't drank since we found out at 4 weeks.

Symptoms come and go, you can’t take them to mean anything in particular. I was really sick but had a missed miscarriage.

Apparently the placenta starts to take over from around week 9 (I think) and hcg stops rising and plateaus off so this usually accounts for symptoms reducing.

It's completely normal for symptoms to come and go and doesn't mean anything in regards to your baby.
Mine disappeared around the same time but then came back worse than ever a week or so later!
Try to enjoy the break.

You are doing everything right. You honestly just need to keep the faith and look forward to the next milestone. It is really hard (the waiting) I have had 5 pregnancies and for most of it, and most of them, nothing, other than a bit of tiredness, bloating and later on, indigestion, and as more children came along I showed earlier. In nearly 4 years of being pregnant, I was only sick twice. Gets easier about 16 weeks because you start to feel them move about, and you, at that point, are over the worst chance of miscarrying. You sort of have to accept that "nothing is a thing", and get on with normal life, and tempting though the thought might be, you cannot have a scan every day. It would not help even if it was possible. Hard I know, but try not to worry xxx

Totally normal. As @Quaver9 mentioned the placenta kicks in around the 9/10wk mark and often symptoms reduce at this time. I know it’s easier said than done but please try not to worry too much x

It's fine. I only had tiredness and nausea for a couple of weeks, didn't vomit, and then both disappeared by around week 9.

Relax and enjoy your pregnancy or you will worry yourself through it instead x

I had a slight sickness feeling at 7sih weeks that lasted a week or so but i haven't felt anything since. I'm 27 weeks now and apart from the bump, i don't feel pregnant but baby is healthy. I was worried too and had an early private scan but everything was fine. Everybody's symptoms are different, you must be one of the lucky ones!😊
