I’m 19+3 with a posterior placenta and I have not felt any movements. Everybody keeps asking me and saying I should be feeling movements by now but I’m not feeling any at all! Should I be concerned? It’s really starting to worry me. When did you all feel babies movements?

Is it your first baby?

with my first I felt movements around 18/19weeks but my best friend was around 21ish weeks.

I think up to 23ish weeks is normal

If it’s your first baby, it could still be a few weeks, and that’s well within the normal range.

With my first baby, I honestly didn’t realise that what I was feeling was baby! I thought it was just my tummy rumbling a bit. It’s sooo easy to miss in the early days and, as PP said, it can take a few more weeks to feel baby. Hopefully your 20 week scan will put your mind at ease ☺️

Is it your first? It's generally a bit later in a first pregnancy than subsequent ones but anything to to 24 weeks is still considered normal.

My first I was about 22 weeks - had my 20 week scan and she was moving like mad but I just couldn't feel it!

Now pregnant with my second, 18 weeks today and still nothing yet.

Thank you for the reassurance everyone! It’s my first baby, I’ve had two previous miscarriages so as you can imagine listening to family and friends saying I should be able to feel her by now is causing a lot of anxiety! I had a gender scan at 15+3 and they reassured me baby looked really healthy just finding pregnancy a very anxious worrying time!
