Hi guys, so I may be pregnant but not sure how to tell my partner. Like do I show him the test or wait for the blood results ? Sorry this is my first time (potentially being pregnant) so I’m kinda freaking out

It’s hard to see in all of the photos - I’d try again with something like a first response just to be sure. Or a digital.

Are you in the UK? You wouldn’t typically confirm with blood work unless you’re under a fertility clinic or went privately.

I’d show him him the test and then do another one together.

How to tell him a bit depends on your circumstances. Was it planned? How do you feel about the pregnancy? Would he be supportive?

A planned pregnancy that he's likely to be supportive of i would tell him now. An unplanned pregnancy that him might not be supportive of i would give myself a few days test again and share the results having given yourself a day or two for the possibility to sink in for you. An unplanned pregnancy where he would be supportive, it's up to you and what you feel is the best.

Some people like testing with their partners finding out together. If that's you do the next test with him. I have done my tests on my own. The first time I did it just before he came home and I showed him the test and told him I was pregnant. For me doing it on my own fits with me.

I’m not sure if class that as a positive just yet. Maybe try a digital, like other poster says you don’t really get bloods that’s when your 100% pregnant and getting maternity care

I can't see a line on any of those photos.
Are you actively planning a family?
I would wait until you have a definite positive pregnancy test (maybe retest in a couple of weeks) before you tell anyone, including your partner.

I had the same issue in my second pregnancy, I ended up holding the test up to the window to see if a blue line shone through as I think evaporation lines look more grey? Some people won't agree with this idea, but it did give me some clarity (I'm quite impatient!😂). 💕
