Any recommendations for waterproof maternity coat?

I'm looking to get a warm waterproof winter coat, ideally with the zip-in baby wearing add-on so I can get as much wear out of it as possible. However all the coats I'm seeing are only "showerproof" at best, I live in the UK so this probably won't cut it haha. Anyone have any recommendations?

I don’t, I bought a seraphine coat from vinted last time but it definitely wasn’t waterproof or shower resistant (probably due to being old). So I used that and an umbrella in late pregnancy.

DS was born in April so then I wore the baby carrier, my raincoat, and an Ergobaby shower cover over the carrier or umbrella.

It’s not a maternity coat but I bought a Saltrock coat in my usual size last year a few months before I fell pregnant, perfectly water proof not a drop of water gets through it, and they are oversized so mine fit me all the way through pregnancy, was still wearing it the day I was induced, and it’s big enough that I’m still wearing it now with my 6 months old baby in the carrier inside it as well! I’d definitely recommend it!

How waterproof?
5,000 HH = allowed to be called 'waterproof' by manufacturers, but actually more like a couple of hours in light rain showers
20,000+ HH = actually monsoon level waterproof

Also note things like taped seams.

By the way I fitted into a normal non-maternity waterproof only one size up until about 7 months. I didn't go for long walks after that anyway!

I haven't been able to find any proper waterproof maternity coats, they all seem to be shower resistant rather than actual waterproof. I've ended up borrowing one on my dad's waterproofs! I've also brought a Seraphine 4 in 1 coat which is shower proof and has a removable puffer and a zip in over baby carrier part. They are expensive so I thought for ages about it but so glad I got it. DH brought it for me as a very early Christmas present.

I was going g ro suggest a dryrobe type too. I could easily fit a toddler in mine.

I would get a normal zip up raincoat and a zip us in panel for baby wearing. The panels are not totally waterproof but they'd keep off showers and you'd get more long term use out of the coat.

Mamalila coats are pretty good - I live in the west of Scotland and it rains a lot! Seraphine are warm but very poor waterproofing.

I've got the seraphine one and it seems pretty waterproof to me so far (compared to other parkas). The water just beads on the surface and runs off. It's more waterproof than my non-maternity Barbour parka. It is expensive though - I don't think it's a must have.
